On Sunday morning around 4am, New Yorker Christin Myles received a unique gift for her 24th birthday: a punch in the face from troubled NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall at a nightclub in Chelsea. Marshall, at the time a Miami Dolphin but acquired in a trade Tuesday by the Chicago Bears, allegedly was involved in a fight with an unnamed football player and later with Myles' friends when he either purposely or accidentally served the birthday girl a delicious knuckle sandwich, leaving her with a black eye as a memento of her special night on the town. Also involved in the bruhaha was Marshall's wife. Michi-Nogami Marshall, who grabbed headlines of her own last April by stabbing her husband in the stomach, was hit in the face by a bottle during the fight. The Bears and Dolphins were both aware of the incident when the trade took place. While no charges have been officially filed at this time, Marshall does have a history of run-ins with the law, and punching a girl does up the ante on his overall dislikability quotient. He might find it tough to land those coveted product placement deals.
