Pot Robertson

Controversial televangelist Pat Robertson, who recently blamed the victims of a recent burst of deadly tornadoes for all the death and destruction because they hadn't prayed enough, has come out in favor of legalizing marijuana. He believes marijuana should be treated the same way alcohol is and says, "this war on drugs just hasn't succeeded." Robertson's statement has been hailed by pot legalization advocates and met with stunned silence from many of Robertson's evangelical brethren. With these kinds of blunt remarks, perhaps it's high time Robertson changes the name of his signature show from the 700 Club to the 420 Club. Editor's note: Sorry, that's the best we've got.
