On a Rolls

A strong February jobs report, showing that employers added 227,000 jobs in February, put a bit of a spring in President Obama's step. While the unemployment rate remains essentially unchanged, this is considered to be a indicator that the economy continues to move in a positive direction. Obama hailed this news during a visit to a Rolls Royce plant in Virginia, where he praised American manufacturing. Following recent IRS statistics that the income of the wealthiest Americans rose at a level more than ten times higher than middle class Americans, it figures that a Rolls Royce plant would be seeing increased business.

  1. I find visiting a privately held, foreign-owned, luxury car company in a right-to-work state makes perfect sense for this President. Hopefully, he took good notes to share with the execs at Government Motors. I bet the Volt is headed for a redesign.
